As it is our CSR priority to assist the society in need of clean water and this is one of the best ways to engage with rural communities.
Through this project, we helped villagers access to clean, safe and reliable water supply for everyday living that will enhance their socio-economic well-being.
Working with HOPES has helped us to learn how detailed they plan each project and implements it within a rural community. During the selection process, they conducted extensive surveys and interviews on the problems faced by each rural village before they determined the selected village to be assisted.
HOPES team were very helpful in providing data and information in relation to the project and the background of the village. HOPES team were professional to also engage some experts such as engineers and finance accountants in assisting their project planning and budgeting.
As for Suria Capital Holdings’ team, being part of the volunteer group has helped them to recognize the life and the hardships faced by the villagers in remote areas. It also gives them a new experience to interact with the villagers and appreciate the unspoiled environment as they still use natural water resource from the river for daily necessities.
