Q1: Can I use vermicompost on all types of plants?

A: You may use vermicompost on a variety of plants: flowering, non-flowering and vegetables / fruits. It is not advised to apply on carnivorous plants.

Q2: When will I see results in my plant?

A: You can normally see improvements in your plant within 1 to 2 weeks after application. Water regularly.

Q3: Is it really safe for vermicompost to touch my plant’s roots?

A: Vermicomposting is 100% natural and is made out of organic waste; no chemicals. It is safe and also does not require dilution with water.

Q4: Why are my plant’s leave tuning yellow?

A: Some plants are more sensitive to vermicompost than others. In this case, mix more garden soil and reduce watering if water retention is high. Keep monitoring. Contact us if assistance is needed.

Q5: How to maintain vermicompost if not used?

A: Keep unused vermicompost spread out in a breathable container (e.g. plastic box or tray). Keep damp (may use damp cloth to cover) and mix regularly. Do not let it dry out as beneficial bacteria may die.

Q6: Is there a ratio of vermicompost to use for soil / fertiliser?

A: No, you may use as much as you want for either (may adjust to plant size).

Q7: Could I find insects in vermicompost?

A: As vermicomposting is a natural process, you may find small worm or insects. These are harmless towards your plants.

Q8: How to maintain vermicompost if not used?
