Founded in 2016 as a community‑driven NGO, Hopes Malaysia has evolved into a social enterprise dedicated to transforming rural Sabah through sustainable, practical, and measurable solutions.
We believe real impact comes from empowerment, not dependency. Instead of short‑term relief, we equip rural families with the knowledge and skills to meet their needs sustainably, break the poverty cycle, and build resilient futures.

Sustainably Empowering Sabah Rural Communities
Since 2016, Hopes Malaysia has empowered over 50,000 villagers across 74 rural communities in Kadamaian, Kota Belud — boosting self‑sufficiency through sustainable, community‑led solutions.
Over the years, our work has focused on addressing core challenges in clean water access, food security, education, and rural infrastructure. By working hand‑in‑hand with local families, we’ve built scalable solutions that not only meet immediate needs but also strengthen long‑term community resilience.
